Position: Parts Counter Associate

Location: Basil Ford Niagara Falls- 6980 Niagara Falls Blvd, Niagara Falls NY 14304

Parts Counter Associate Compensation: Between $55,000 to $70,000 annually (based on knowledge, & experience).

Schedule: 5 Day Work Week - Monday-Friday 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. with Saturday rotation OR 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday

What you'll do:
  • Assist retail customers and service technicians in identifying and ordering the correct parts.
  • Process parts orders, returns, and invoices efficiently and accurately.
  • Educate customers on all required parts to successfully complete repairs.
  • Maintain parts inventory levels and organization.
  • Research parts availability, pricing, and warranty information.
  • Answering telephone calls punctually and considerately to make every effort to satisfy the caller's inquiry.
  • Support daily parts department operations and ensure timely delivery to the service department.
  • Attention to detail when completing vehicle repair orders.
  • Stock incoming inventory in the correct location
  • Build lasting relationships with customers, vendors and internal team members.
  • Strong computer skills - parts catalogs and parts processing performed electronically.
What we're looking for:
  • 2 + years of experience in an automotive parts department (Ford experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and parts cataloging
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented with solid organizational abilities
  • Proficient with computer systems and dealership management software
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
