JOB DESCRIPTION

Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Osteoimmunology

A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Park-Min at the Hospital for

Special Surgery in New York City, USA.

Our lab focuses on identifying the pathways that control the formation and activation

of osteoclasts, the specialized cells that break down bone, aiming to find better ways to

prevent the bone destruction that occurs in rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, and

osteonecrosis. Ongoing studies include identifying novel players and regulatory

mechanisms of osteoclastogenesis and characterizing osteoclast-specific signatures in

metabolic bone diseases. We apply cutting-edge cellular and molecular techniques,

including next-generation sequencing, and utilize various mouse models to accomplish

our studies. Please see the detailed projects on our lab website.
