Kitchen Manager
Location: Victory Restaurant and Lounge
We're seeking a hands-on, dependable Kitchen Manager who leads by example and takes pride in maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all stations (Grill, Fry, Sauté, and Garm) run smoothly and efficiently.
- Manage, train, and motivate line cooks, prep cooks, and dish staff.
- Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.
- Handle all ordering, inventory tracking, and vendor relations to control food costs.
- Create and manage prep lists, daily task sheets, and staff schedules.
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness, organization, and adherence to food safety regulations.
- Support menu execution, recipe consistency, and proper plating during service.
- Communicate effectively with the Executive Chef and General Manager to meet restaurant goals.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of leadership experience in a high-volume kitchen.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead by example and maintain a positive, professional attitude.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and passionate about teamwork.
- Knowledge of ordering systems (Sysco, US Foods, etc.) and cost control preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50, $60,000.00 per year
