Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a Consultant. The Consultant will be responsible for connecting clients with funding sources, evaluating financial documents, and providing guidance on loan options. Day-to-day tasks include client consultations, preparing loan applications to be submitted once the client agrees to terms of the funding source, and building relationships with clients. The consultant will also be expected to stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes. The must be able to generate own client base but will be provided cold leads.

  • Financial analysis and evaluation skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Client consultation and relationship building abilities
  • Knowledge of loan products and funding sources
  • Experience in the real estate and business loan industry
  • Ability to work independently and remotely

Duties

  • Evaluate client financial information to determine eligibility for various loan products
  • Assist clients with the loan application process, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate
  • Process loan applications efficiently
  • Collaborate with banking partners and underwriters to facilitate loan approval and funding
  • Provide guidance on loan options, terms, and repayment plans tailored to client needs
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, lending policies, and new financial products to better serve clients

Skills

  • Proven experience in banking, loan origination, or loan processing roles
  • Ability to analyze financial data accurately and efficiently
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
