Maintenance Crew Leader

Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Crew Leader to manage and work alongside a crew of 2-4 employees while delivering exceptional landscape maintenance services. This is a working leadership role requiring minimal supervision and strong customer interaction skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and perform all landscape maintenance: mowing, pruning, mulching, fertilizing, bed maintenance, cleanups
  • Operate company trucks and all maintenance equipment safely
  • Manage crew scheduling, productivity, and morale
  • Complete job paperwork, time sheets, and material orders
  • Interact professionally with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Ensure safety protocols and maintain clean job sites

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Valid driver's license with clean record
  • 2+ years landscape maintenance experience
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) - oral and written
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work physically demanding jobs
  • CPR/First Aid certification (a plus)
  • Clean background check and employment eligibility documentation
