Seeking experienced kitchen cook in a fast paced restaurant. Primary cooking areas include grill, stove and fryer. On rotation to work on the line to prep and prepare the dishes. Preferred at least 3-5 years prior experience in a busy restaurant kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes , ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients using proper knife skills and techniques
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
- Manage food handling procedures, including storage, labeling, and inventory control
- Assist in cleaning kitchen equipment and work areas to uphold cleanliness standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience in busy restaurant kitchen
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to various shifts or schedules as needed
Pay $22-25 per hour + tips
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $ $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
