We're looking for a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to join our passionate team and drive our growth across the Mountain region.
Role Overview: As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be the driving force behind our success in the commercial HVAC, plumbing, and service markets. Your mission will be to propel revenue growth and enhance our market presence through innovative strategies and relationship-building. You'll play a crucial role in shaping our market approach, leading initiatives, and ensuring our solutions meet and exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development Excellence
- Drive Revenue Growth: Lead and execute sales strategies to surpass revenue goals, showcasing the unique Armstrong Design Envelope Value Proposition.
- Manage Relationships: Build and nurture strong connections with representatives, consulting engineers, contractors, and end users. Be their trusted advisor, guiding them through every stage from product selection to project completion.
- Increase Market Penetration: Partner with representatives to boost product visibility and market presence.
- Provide Expertise: Collaborate with consulting engineers to offer technical insights and recommendations tailored to client needs.
- Support Projects: Guide contractors from the specification phase through to installation and startup, ensuring seamless project delivery.
- Understand End User Needs: Engage directly with end users to tailor solutions that address their specific challenges.
- Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep abreast of industry developments and competitor activities to drive informed strategic decisions.
Regional Leadership and Representation
- Champion Vertical Initiatives: Support and execute key vertical segment initiatives within your region.
- Expand Service Network: Focus on growing the service network and increasing service revenue.
- Foster Collaboration: Engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to maintain positive relationships and resolve conflicts.
What We're Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should bring:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, and leadership.
- Additional Qualifications: PE, LEED/A/P certifications, or membership in trade organizations are advantageous.
- Software Requirements- Proficient in PC applications and ERP systems
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of HVAC chilled water systems and applications.
- Learning Mindset: Passion for staying updated with industry innovations and technologies.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Creative thinker with a knack for breaking down complex issues and providing clear, actionable solutions.
- Leadership: Strong, team-oriented leader who thrives in both autonomous and collaborative settings, with a focus on achieving results.
- Communication: Open and authentic communicator with the ability to engage effectively in all situations.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel domestically (40-50%) and possess a valid passport.
