Black Diamond Wealth Platform provides solutions for the wealth management process. The core product retrieves and reconciles investment accounting data and provides a feature-rich, Internet-based application to analyze performance. Black Diamond Wealth Platform helps wealth managers and their clients by providing unbiased, outsourced investment performance reporting.

What You Will Get To Do:

• Participate in a continuous improvement environment by building, maintaining, and troubleshooting our rapidly expanding infrastructure and working closely with technology teams

• Deploy new physical and virtual servers, storage, and networking within data center environments

• Provide daily operational support and administration of production and non-production environments, including management and monitoring of all systems and infrastructure in our SaaS environment

• Keep the network and systems secure and running efficiently

• Write and maintain custom automation to increase system efficiency, quality, and reduce human intervention on any task

• Participate in the engineering, planning, upgrade, and maintenance of hosted Infrastructure

• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and perform after-hours maintenance. Don't worry, this requirement is applied thoughtfully with respect to work-life balance.

What You Will Bring:

• A minimum of 2 years as a systems engineer or equivalent role

• Skilled in scripting and automation with PowerShell and/or Ansible and RESTful APIs.

• Excellent understanding of Windows Server and Linux operating systems running on Intel-based rack and blade servers

• Proficiency with Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, IIS, and MSSQL

• Proficiency with VMware, OpenShift, or comparable virtualization technology in the data center

• Skilled in troubleshooting software and hardware issues

• Experience designing and supporting highly available application infrastructure

• Knowledge of computer hardware, software, applications, and systems administration in the data center

• Solid understanding of proper communication and collaboration involving changes, issues, and processes

• Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and adapt easily to new technologies and ideas

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Experience working in an environment where availability, scalability, security, compliance, change management, documentation, and knowledge sharing are operating imperatives

• An eagerness to learn enough about whatever tools or tricks are needed to get the job done

Helpful Qualifications:

• Experience with Linux performance tuning and troubleshooting in clustered and virtualized environments

• Experience with OpenShift Virtualization and K8s or equivalent containerization technologies.

• Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages

• Experience with Linux network tools and firewall configuration

• Skilled in scripting and automation with PowerShell, Ansible, and RESTful APIs.

• Experience with hosted/cloud-based solutions

• Experience with JIRA or other work tracking systems

• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g, Puppet, Ansible, etc.)

• Experience with Dell PowerEdge or equivalent server hardware.

• Experience with vSAN, ISCSI, or Fiber Channel SANs

• Experience with management and administration of Palo Alto and Juniper SRX firewalls, Cisco Nexus Switches, Dell EMC Switching, F5 LTM or equivalent networking technologies

• Experience with Palo Alto XDR endpoint protection.

• Knowledge of networking concepts and services with the ability to troubleshoot (DNS, HTTP, SMTP, SSL, DHCP, FTP, DFS, routing, switching, firewalls)

• Experience with modern software development methodologies and processes (continuous integration, version control systems, automated application deployment, etc.)

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in computer-related fields, technical certifications related to responsibilities, or equivalent professional experience
