Wetlands Inc. is a certified Woman-Owned and Small Business Enterprise specializing in Union landscape construction and site construction across New Jersey and New York. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Coordinator to help identify new opportunities, manage bid submissions, and build relationships that drive company growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the company's bid tracking log.
  • Send and record proposals in coordination with Estimators and Project Managers.
  • Research lowest bidders after submissions and follow up with awarded firms to discuss pricing and partnership opportunities.
  • Reach out to contractors and agencies to introduce Wetlands Inc. and secure placement on bidders' lists.
  • Search for new project opportunities on BuildingConnected, CIS Leads, and other bidding platforms.
  • Create and maintain organized project folders, bid breakdowns, and project information forms.
  • Attend bidder meetings and assist with prequalification documentation when needed.
  • Attend industry association meetings, networking events, and company outings to promote Wetlands Inc., strengthen relationships, and generate new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate social media marketing (via LinkedIn) by posting updates and project photos.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication (phone and email) and follow-up abilities.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Excel.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional presence and confidence in representing the company at networking events.
