Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of dental practice management, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role requires expertise in fiscal management, human resources, and medical office administration to ensure the smooth functioning of the practice.

Duties

  • Manage daily operations of the dental practice, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
  • Oversee financial management tasks, including budgeting, billing, and revenue cycle management.
  • Supervise staff members, providing training and support to enhance performance and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with legal standards.
  • Implement and manage office policies and procedures to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care for patients.
  • Utilize EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, or eClinicalWorks for effective patient management.
  • Monitor clinic performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement in service delivery.
  • Manage human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, and staff evaluations.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among all clinic personnel.

Experience

  • Proven experience in medical office management or dental practice management is required.
  • Strong background in fiscal management including budgeting and financial oversight.
  • Supervising experience within a healthcare setting is essential.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, records management, and compliance standards (JCAHO) is necessary.
  • Experience with managed care systems and utilization management is preferred.
  • Previous roles in acute care or critical care settings are advantageous but not mandatory.
