Your Role & Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert psychiatric care and medication management to older adults in designated long-term care facilities
• Function as an essential collaborative partner with facility medical directors, primary care providers, and facility staff to develop cohesive, patient-centered treatment plans
• Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and ongoing treatment for a diverse range of mental health conditions common in the older adult population (e.g., depression, anxiety, dementia-related behaviors)

Qualifications for Success:

• Active and unrestricted psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP) licensure in the state of New York
• Board certification in psychiatry or a minimum of 2 years of direct post-licensure experience in psychotropic medication management
• Demonstrated passion and clinical competence in geriatric behavioral health
