Exact Machine Service is assisting one of their customers by identifying and then hiring an experienced machinist (mostly manual machines) that will support this customer on a full-time basis.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday:
  • Option 1: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
  • Option 2: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
  • Flexible start time between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM
  • Flexible lunch duration: 30 minutes to 1 hour
  • 8 hours of work per day

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manual Machinist specializing in running lathes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Prototrak conversational programming and the ability to manufacture high-quality products using 90% manual machinery.

Initially, the workload will be slower, allowing time to learn from senior operators nearing retirement. Workload is expected to increase over time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and program Prototrak Lathe machines using conversational programming.
  • Manufacture a variety of products including:
  • Steel tubing for rollers
  • Stainless steel shafts
  • Blue nylon sleeves
  • Collaborate with the team to meet production goals.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with manual machinery.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to varying workloads.

Compensation:

  • Pay Rate: $30.00/hour to $35.00/hour
