Job Summary:

Aisle Planner Pro, a leader in event management software with embedded payments technology, is seeking a Product Manager with a passion for innovation and an admiration for user-centered design. The individual must have the drive and determination to own usability standards, mandate processes, and define strategy. In collaboration with the Product and Engineering teams, the Product Manager will be responsible for gathering and evaluating user requirements, illustrating design ideas, as well as conduct competitive analysis and user research. This opportunity requires a strategic thinker and problem solver, a person comfortable owning initiatives and using data to drive their decisions, as well as an individual who is unafraid to push creative and digital boundaries.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Translate business goals and requirements into innovative and effective digital experiences for our customers.
  • Develop and own the product vision, roadmap, and strategy to meet customer needs while aligning with business objectives.
  • Own the product development process from ideation, through design and development, to launch and post-launch integration.
  • Conduct user interviews to understand problem areas for customers.
  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Evaluate our existing products against the industry to propose the next generation of our software experience.
  • Develop mockups and prototypes that will illustrate design ideas and process flow to clients and internal staff.
  • Write clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for new features and enhancements.
  • Examine the competition and identify areas for improvement and opportunities to lead the industry.
  • Define and own UX standards and clearly document engineering guidelines.
  • Attend regular standups, refinement meetings, and discovery meetings as the subject matter expert.
  • Invest in the quality of our products by owning experience testing and responsiveness across all devices. This will also include testing to find disparities between final implementation and mockups before release.
  • Assist all departments with the development and improvement of all client centric assets.

Skills & Competencies:

  • User Research & Insights – actionable design recommendations.
  • Experience Design & Prototyping- wireframing and prototypes- iterate based on feedback from users, product mangers, and engineers.
  • UI/UX Design Execution- focusing on functionality with ease of use.
  • Collaboration with Product & Engineering – ensure designs are technically feasible and implemented correctly.
  • Customer Onboarding & Adoption Support- design experiences that minimize friction in onboarding and adoption.
  • Familiarity with software development processes, agile methodologies, and tools (e.g., JIRA, Monday, Confluence)
  • Continuous Improvement- refine interfaces and workflows to reduce support and improve retention.
  • Design System & Standards Ownership- consistency, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Product walk-throughs and end-user documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in product design/development.
  • Skilled in responsive and adaptive design principles.
  • Proficient in web design and prototyping software (Adobe suite and Figma preferred).
  • Hard-working, proactive, and self-motivated.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; must be comfortable presenting ideas to key stakeholders and advocating for the user.
  • Keen attention to detail and deep passion for consistency.
  • Creative problem solver with a positive attitude.
  • Collaborative, team player with an openness to new ideas.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and day-to-day responsibilities with little oversight.
