Job description

The Patient Care Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within a medical office. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a medical clinic.

Job Summary: Responsible for establishing and maintaining an excellent and exceptional patient service experience. Responsible for answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, creating and maintaining electronic patient records, managing incoming referrals and medical record requests, and patient check-in and check-out. Assists physician and staff in coordinating patient care. Functions as primary liaison between patients, staff, and physician.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet all incoming patients in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Obtain complete and accurate patient information.
  • Complete administrative duties that ensure the patient's visit is smooth, billing can be processed timely and accurately.
  • Collect co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles, etc. at the time of visit and in accordance with practice policy and patient insurance guidelines.
  • Verify Insurance as needed
  • Patient electronic medical records should be created for new patients or located for established patients.
  • Maintain waiting area and front desk cleanliness and organization.
  • Coordinate with other PCC's as necessary and attend meetings as requested.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Perform other related duties as directed or required.

Job Type: Full-time

We have 3 locations: Arlington, Mansfield and Midlothian

Schedule: In Office - Monday to Friday MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL AS NEEDED

Salary: $ $18.00 per hour
