The Senior Workplace Design Manager will ensure that workplace environments are innovative, functional, and aligned with business goals while leading cross-functional teams and managing all aspects of design from concept to implementation to create exceptional, future-forward workplaces.Your day-to-day tasks will include:Lead the design management of large corporate workplace projects, ensuring adherence to design standards, budget and timelinesAct as the primary point of contact for client regarding design-related matters at the project levelCollaborate with internal cross-functional teams including real estate, workplace strategy, workplace experience, property management, sustainability, corporate security, brand and technology to develop design conceptsManage relationships with external design firms, architects, consultants and contractors, ensuring effective communication and delivery of high-quality projectsOversee design phases including schematic design, design development and construction documentation, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and sustainability initiativesProvide leadership in space planning, interior design and furniture selection to foster productivity, employee well-being and innovationCoordinate with project managers, vendors and construction teams during construction phase to ensure design intent is maintainedRequired Qualifications:10+ years' experience working on commercial Interior Design projects, preferably for large organizations or financial institutionsBachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related fieldExcellent project management capabilities with experience in end-to-end project execution process for major commercial interior design fit out projectsProven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budgetProficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative SuiteStrong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and work collaboratively across departments and with external partnersKnowledge of local building codes, ADA requirements and other regulatory standardsPreferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related fieldExperience in managing design projects that involve complex technology integration and hybrid workplace strategiesFamiliarity with WELL Building Standards, LEED certification, or other sustainability frameworksStrong knowledge of workplace trends, space planning, inclusive design, sustainability practices and building systemsInnovative thinker and subject matter expert with thought leadership of industry best-practicesEntrepreneurial attitude with self-motivation and ability to multi-task and organize several projects simultaneouslyAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentEstimated compensation for this position:100,000.00 – 120,000.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ.
