Expected Contract Length: 4 years with potential for extensions. 

Remote/Site: On site is highly preferred but will consider remote work

Job Description:

Essential duties include the locating and designing supports for various piping systems and performing associated calculations. Candidate should be familiar with common pipe support hardware, industry standards, and relevant codes such as AISC & ASME B31.3. Work closely with layout personnel and pipe stress engineers to deliver a quality and cost-effective design. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as required. Prior experience should include working in a 3D model environment.

Basic Qualifications

US Citizenship is required

4 Year Structural Engineering Bachelors Degree

Good knowledge of AISC and ASME B31.3 and other relevant industry codes and standards

Prior experience using structural analysis programs

Preferred Qualifications

PE Registration

Prior experience using pipe support analysis programs GTStrudel

Prior experience using Pipe SupportModeler software

Previous Craig Technologies project experience

Previous DOD/DOE project experience
 
The salary range for this role is $115,000 – $170,000; however, Craig Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer for employment, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training and preferred skills and knowledge.
