Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers. This role requires a thorough understanding of automotive systems, including electrical, mechanical, and powertrain components.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics on various vehicle systems to identify issues accurately.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot automotive problems.
  • Conduct repairs on mechanical components, including engines, transmissions, and powertrains.
  • Work with automotive electrical systems to diagnose and repair wiring issues.
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs and services performed on vehicles.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding vehicle issues and recommended services.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Diagnostic Technician or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and schematics.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment.
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform alignments and auto body repairs as needed.
  • Experience working with GM vehicles is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
  • Welding experience is beneficial but not required.
