Overview

We are a New & Used Commercial Kitchen Equipment Dealer.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Kitchen Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial kitchen equipment.

This job is both an in-house and on the road job.

Your expertise will ensure that our clients' kitchens operate efficiently and effectively, providing exceptional service to their customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and customer service skills, with a background in appliance repair and field service.

Duties

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of various commercial kitchen appliances including ovens, fryers, refrigerators, and dishwashers.
  • Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot equipment issues accurately.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
  • Operate a box truck for the delivery of equipment and parts to job sites as necessary.
  • Conduct routine inspections of kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a service technician in the field of commercial kitchen equipment or similar roles.
  • Background in appliance repair, refrigeration, HVAC systems, and electrical experience.
  • Familiarity with equipment assembly and repair processes.
  • Previous delivery driver experience is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Must speak English fluently.
