Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Architecture Designer to join our growing design team.

The ideal candidate is passionate about architecture, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to projects from concept through construction documentation.

You will work closely with senior designers and project managers to develop creative, functional, and well-coordinated design solutions for residential and commercial projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing architectural concepts and detailed drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other 3D modeling tools.
  • Prepare construction documents, plans, and presentations under the guidance of senior designers.
  • Conduct site measurements, update existing drawings, and participate in project coordination.
  • Support the team in integrating architectural, interior, and mechanical design elements.
  • Use Bluebeam to review and mark up design drawings.
  • Create 3D renderings and visual presentations to communicate design intent.
  • Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and contractors throughout the design and permitting process.
  • Learn and apply building codes and local jurisdiction requirements in California.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Design, or a related field.
  • 0–3 years of professional experience in an architecture or design office.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is required; experience with Revit, Rhino, or Bluebeam is a plus.
  • Strong design sense, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with construction documents and basic building codes.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Portfolio demonstrating design ability and drafting proficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60, $700,000.00 per year
