Job Title: Front Desk Agent

Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday evenings from 3p.m. to 11p.m.

Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented individual to join our hotel as a Front Desk Agent. The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, handling reservations and check-in/check-out procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests as they arrive at the hotel, provide information about hotel services and amenities, and assist with luggage and other requests.
  • Process reservations and check-ins/check-outs using the hotel management system, ensuring accuracy of guest information and rates.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints, resolve issues promptly and efficiently, and escalate issues to management as needed.
  • Balance cash and credit card transactions at the end of each shift, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and properly recorded.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including restocking brochures and other promotional materials, and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Communicate with other hotel departments to ensure that guest requests are fulfilled promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff by monitoring access and following established security procedures.
  • Perform other administrative duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in customer service or hospitality, with experience in front desk operations preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience using hotel management systems preferred.
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to work weekends and holidays as required.
