Would you like to work somewhere you can make a difference? Due to growth, UCP of West Central Wisconsin is looking for a new member to join our team We would like someone who can offer high quality care and service to individuals.

The Direct Support Professional supports many people in their own home settings, providing non-medical services. This program exists for individuals so they obtain a consistent caregiver. We strive to work as a team to complete tasks, however, the employee has the ability to work independently.

This role is a part-time position (19 hours per week) with option to increase those hours in the future. Clients will be in the Eau Claire/ Chippewa Falls area, but the home office is in Eau Claire.

Provide Quality Care

Expectations:

  • Follow the client's unique care plan. Only complete tasks listed on the care plan
  • Use teamwork to complete tasks
  • Work hands on with client and complete administrative tasks

Activities to be Completed

Expectations:

  • Housekeeping
  • Laundry
  • Shopping
  • Running errands
  • Companionship
  • Meal preparation
  • Mobility assistance

Maintain efficient work methods and production goals

Expectations:

  • Participate in staff meetings
  • Participate in performance reviews
  • Follow assigned schedule
  • Follow the care plan
  • Prepare and maintain case notes, daily logs, records, activity documentation, and reports

Professional Development and Personnel Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience in care settings, but not necessary
  • Must provide excellent customer service
  • Trustworthy
  • Punctual
  • Reliable

Ideal Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years' experience in care settings
  • Job Type: Part-Time
  • Pay: $14-17 per hour -room for growth with option for increased hours as position grows
  • Expected hours: 19 hours per week with the opportunity to increase
