What you'll be doing:

  • Process high volumes of accounts payable invoices, including matching, coding, verification, approvals, and reconciliation.
  • Scan, upload, and digitally file daily vouchers to support paperless accounting and check runs.
  • Maintain and update vendor master data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and file 1099s and manage tax-exempt certificates for vendors.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to verify invoices, expenses, and purchase orders.
  • Prepare weekly check runs, process special check requests, and resolve open PO or uninvoiced receipt issues.
  • Generate and distribute customer invoices, record and apply payments, and monitor accounts receivable aging.
  • Investigate and resolve pricing or quantity discrepancies with vendors, sales, and logistics.
  • Communicate with vendors and customers to address billing, payment, or collection issues.
  • Provide cross-departmental accounting support and assist with various projects or assigned tasks.
