We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator/Estimator to join our team. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the success of our solar projects, from initial estimates to project completion.
What You'll Do:
- Estimating & Proposal Development:
- Prepare accurate and detailed project estimates, including materials, labor, and timelines.
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to create compelling project proposals for clients.
- Project Coordination:
- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of solar installations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress and address any potential issues proactively.
- Vendor & Resource Management:
- Source and coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Review and approve vendor quotes and invoices.
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure all projects meet regulatory requirements and safety standards.
- Maintain organized records of all project documentation, including permits, contracts, and progress reports.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in project coordination, estimating, or a similar role in the solar or construction industry.
- Familiarity with solar systems, components, and installation processes is highly preferred.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of estimating software and project management tools.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications (Preferred):
- NABCEP certification or other industry-related credentials.
