Our team is looking for one exceptional Full-Stack Developer to update our well-defined technology, and join us for the long-term, with potential to convert to a C-Suite role

Role Description

As a Full-Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that seamlessly integrate various data sources, payment systems, and established AI models. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure are robustness, security, and performance. This role requires expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies, with a focus on database integrations, UI components, payment processing, and AI model incorporation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement full-stack web applications using modern frameworks and languages (e.g., , , Capacitor, or similar).
• Integrate Xata databases (or refactor to an alternative) with GS1 standards and other external data sources, ensuring efficient data synchronization, querying, and management and user requests.
• Develop and customize user interfaces using ShadCN components, potentially leveraging Tailwind CSS for responsive and accessible designs.
• Integrate and manage payment services, including handling subscriptions, transactions, webhooks, and compliance with security standards including PCI DSS.
• Incorporate existing machine learning AI models into applications, including API integrations, data pipelines, and optimization for real-time inference.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security across front-end and back-end layers.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in full-stack development, databases, payments, and AI integrations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Capacitor, HTML/CSS) and back-end technologies (e.g., , Express, or similar).
• Hands-on experience integrating databases like Xata with external sources, including GS1 APIs or standards for supply chain data.
• Strong knowledge of ShadCN for building UI components in React-based applications.
• Proven experience with Stripe integration, including payment gateways, billing systems, and error handling.
• Experience integrating pre-built machine learning models (e.g., via , ONNX, or cloud services like AWS SageMaker/Google AI).
• Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Vercel, or Heroku).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with serverless architectures or edge computing.
• Knowledge of additional databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and data migration tools.
• Familiarity with AI frameworks like PyTorch or Hugging Face Transformers.
• Understanding of agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Portfolio of relevant projects demonstrating integrations with databases, payments, and AI.
• Experience speaking to investors, and potential investors at events, in person, and virtually

Job Type: Contract
