This position covers the West regions of the USA.

The Regional Sales Manager is a field sales position fully supporting the strategies and execution of the US Professional Distribution network including Cosmoprof, Salon Centric, Independent distributors, and chains set forth by the company. The primary goal of the position is to achieve company revenue, sell through and distributor goals/KPI's objectives including the expansion of new doors and growth of the in-salon brand share with existing doors within the assigned territory. This position supports and manages the growth, development and acceleration of the region's omnichannel stores, salons, suites, chains, schools, and academies.

This position is directly responsible for driving brand recognition and loyalty, and ultimately growing sales within a defined territory through existing business growth strategies, achieving required productivity & KPI goals set by company including monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets, relationship management and sell-through for territory distributors, and assisting in the recruitment of Educator positions with direct responsibility for training and development as relates to territory business.

what you'll do:

In Field Strategy:

  • Build productive call cycles including regular visits with key territory store/salon/suites/academies/schools/chains accounts and new business opportunities.
  • The Senior Regional Sales Manager will be the full owner of the execution and results of the "Amika means friend tour" for the respective cities within assigned regions. This includes the pre-planning, communication, organization working closely with the distributor partners and the Director of Business for development in charge of the overall tour program.
  • Establishes a comprehensive, ongoing 90-day schedule focusing on key and pre-determined focused cities/markets which applies to a top-down approach to ensure the greatest return on investment.
  • Mastery of territory business. Including goals, results against goals, year-over-year performance, and performance vs. overall amika results.
  • Effectively executes sales strategies, promotional activities, and marketing plans by territory and per client, with all field activity focusing on sales results. Growth and ROI.
  • Maintains ongoing monitoring, coaching, training, and motivating professional store and field sales representatives. Ensures that each store/consultant/salon is trained frequently and reinforces that training with follow-up communication, demonstrations, and product information.
  • Manages all territory field activity, communication with and management of amika Educators.
  • Represents the company at regional and/or national conferences, events and sales/planning meetings as needed.
  • Ensures salons/stores are properly stocked and merchandised for maximum visual exposure and are easily shoppable.
  • Manages current top salon customer base and assists in developing strategies and programs to increase market share within the salon. Develops and owns a working customer target list of top-tier salons in market for conversion.
  • Proactively recommend actions and support plans for store/salon accounts where improved performance is needed.

Business Strategy:

  • Develops strong relationships with territory store/sales teams to meet sales targets.
  • Clearly communicates in a timely and consistent manner with salons, sales consultants, distributor management, and all appropriate company team members.
  • Creates and maintains an atmosphere focused on the achievement of sales goals. Drives productivity by store, salon, suites and/or account.
  • Prioritizes the most urgent/largest business opportunities utilizing strong time management. Establishes priorities and delegates effectively to meet goals and objectives.
  • Analyze monthly sales reports for volume achievement and areas of opportunity; develop strategies to improve performance.
  • Schedules and executes additional events in key opportunity areas to drive sales.
  • Manages expenses related to the assigned territory and achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to company standards.
  • Monitors competitor products, sales, and marketing activities.
  • Provides efficient feedback to appropriate company personnel regarding the effectiveness of strategies, training, selling tools, and products.

Education:

  • Collaborate with appropriate company personnel to execute an education strategy that will support sell-through.
  • Help in the recruitment, development, and partnership of the 1099 educators within the assigned region.
  • Identify educational needs and opportunities for stores, salons, suites, academies, and schedule appropriate formats.
  • Collaborate with Pro Education team to develop and support a team of top Educators.
  • Provide detailed product knowledge with consistency, professionalism, and appropriate verbiage to stores and salons; including sales tips, features and benefits focused on both consumers and professionals.

  • Salon/Beauty Experience required
  • Higher education degree preferred
  • Must have a car and current license
