Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pastry Cook at BARACHOU in our 2 locations in Manhattan. The Pastry Cook will be responsible for baking and cooking a variety of Choux, pastries, cakes, desserts, ensuring quality and creativity in every pastry prepared.

Qualifications

  • Bakery, Baking, and Cooking skills
  • Creativity Skills for designing and presenting Choux
  • Knowledge of hygiene standards in food preparation
  • Experience in pastry or bakery work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in pastry-making
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is a must

You must be able to work early in the mornings, weekends and holidays.

NYC Food handler card is preferred.
