Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Pastry Cook at BARACHOU in our 2 locations in Manhattan. The Pastry Cook will be responsible for baking and cooking a variety of Choux, pastries, cakes, desserts, ensuring quality and creativity in every pastry prepared.
Qualifications
- Bakery, Baking, and Cooking skills
- Creativity Skills for designing and presenting Choux
- Knowledge of hygiene standards in food preparation
- Experience in pastry or bakery work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and precision in pastry-making
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a must
You must be able to work early in the mornings, weekends and holidays.
NYC Food handler card is preferred.
