Position Overview:

We are seeking litigation associates with 3 or more years of experience defending complex civil matters, including personal injury, premises liability, and professional liability claims. You will take on significant responsibility, work directly with experienced trial lawyers, and gain experience handling matters for national and Fortune 500 clients in the Los Angeles courts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defend clients in a variety of civil cases, including high-exposure matters
  • Analyze liability and damages, develop strategy, and communicate recommendations
  • Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery; take and defend depositions
  • Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and trial
  • Collaborate with partners and clients while supporting and mentoring junior team members

Required Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active California Bar membership in good standing
  • 3+ years of experience with general liability or professional liability litigation (slightly less considered with strong experience)
  • Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
  • Court appearance experience required; trial experience preferred but not mandatory
