About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking an
Associate Attorney
with a minimum of four (4) years of
civil litigation experience
to join our growing team.
Construction law experience
is preferred, and familiarity with transactional work is a plus. This position offers meaningful opportunities to work on complex litigation matters and business transactions, gain direct client exposure, and collaborate with a seasoned team of trial lawyers and counselors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters, with a focus on construction, general liability, and insurance defense cases.
- Handle all phases of litigation including discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
- Draft high-quality legal documents including pleadings, discovery responses, settlement agreements, and legal briefs.
- Advise and counsel both insurance carriers and private clients on litigation strategy, risk mitigation, and contractual matters.
- Assist with transactional matters, including contract review and drafting for construction and real estate clients.
- Work collaboratively with partners and team members in a supportive, entrepreneurial environment.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active and in-good-standing license to practice law in California.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil litigation; construction law experience is preferred.
- Excellent writing, analytical, research, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to high-quality client service.

Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications ranging from $135,000 to $180,000 per year.
