Landau Labs seeks a Lab Technician in Cathedral City, California.

We are looking for accountable and responsible individuals with friendly demeanor to join the Landau Labs team. This position requires someone who is comfortable working in a lab environment and knowledgeable about cannabis.

Technicians will work primarily in sample preparation in the laboratory, but career growth opportunities are available. They will have to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) in preparing samples for analytical testing. They will be required to adhere strictly to Safety and Quality Assurance Protocols.

Hours of work will vary with clients' pick up schedules and may include early mornings, and some late evenings, and possibly occasional weekend work.

We are looking for individuals who are self-starters, are comfortable with numbers, independent, and reliable to join us in this exciting and dynamic industry.

Educational Background

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Associate Degree preferred
  • Coursework in Chemistry is a plus
  • Cannabis industry experience is a plus

General Qualifications

  • Must be over 21 years old

  • Valid Driver's License required

  • Background Check Required

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Windows PC and Microsoft Office experience

  • Dependable, Responsible and Accountable

  • Professionalism and good work ethic

  • Multi-tasking and time management skills

Duties and Responsibilities

Sample Preparation for Analysis:

  • Prepare samples in accordance with the associated methods and SOPs under the supervision of Landau's Lab Director.

  • Perform weighing, homogenization, extraction and dilutions as required by the SOP.

Other Duties:

  • Operate in an accredited laboratory environment
  • Use analytical balances, lab equipment, electronics, specialty printers, take photographs
  • Drive, stand and possibly walk for extended period of time and be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
  • Perform other duties as requested
