As a Security Officer - Front Desk Operations in Deerfield, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries.

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at the location, welcoming visitors and assisting with access control. Your role is to help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a consistent presence and providing exceptional customer service. You will communicate clearly with guests and staff while upholding Allied Universal's values of reliability, innovation, and teamwork. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence at the front desk.
• Monitor access control by verifying identification, signing in visitors, and helping to deter unauthorized entry to the location.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees and/or clients to address questions and provide assistance as needed.
• Document and report security-related incidents, unusual occurrences and/or concerns to Allied Universal management and site leadership.
• Operate front desk equipment and/or technology systems as assigned, such as visitor management systems or communication devices.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
