Our Brooklyn corporate office is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Patient Intake Coordinator who is bilingual in Spanish and English to join our growing team.

Position Overview:

The Patient Intake Coordinator will be the first point of contact for new and existing patients and families. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth onboarding process, accurate documentation, and clear communication between patients, caregivers, and the agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient intake interviews in both English and Spanish to gather medical, personal, and insurance information.
  • Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and caregivers to ensure seamless patient onboarding.
  • Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for homecare services.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA and agency policies.
  • Provide compassionate support to patients and families during the intake process.
  • Assist with scheduling initial visits and follow-up appointments.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (required).
  • Previous experience in healthcare administration, patient intake, or customer service preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55, $60,000.00 per year
