Architectural Drafter

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Architectural Drafter to join our innovative design team. Duties

• Develop detailed architectural drawings, schematics, and construction documents using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software such as AutoCAD and Revit
• Create 2D plans, elevations, sections, and details that adhere to project specifications and building codes.
• Collaborate closely with architects and engineers to interpret design concepts and translate them into accurate technical drawings.
• Prepare schematic diagrams and system designs for various architectural components including interior layouts
• Assist in the development of construction documentation, including specifications, material lists, and installation details.
• Review drawings for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards before submission.
• Use PDF markup tools for reviewing plans, annotating changes, and collaborating with team members efficiently.
• Contribute to graphic design elements for presentations or marketing materials related to architectural projects.
• Maintain organized records of all drafting files, revisions, and project documentation in accordance with company standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Architectural Drafter or in a similar drafting role within architecture or engineering firms.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong understanding of architectural principles including schematics development, system design, interior design concepts, and construction processes.
• Familiarity with building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards relevant to architectural drafting.
• Experience with graphic design tools for creating visual presentations is a plus.
• Ability to interpret architectural sketches and conceptual designs accurately into detailed technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $28.00 per hour
