JOB – Control System Engineers

LOCATION - Atlanta, GA

TERM - Contract

DURATION Months (with scope for extension)

RATE - $45 - $60 per hour

A well established System Integrator in Atlanta, GA is on the lookout for a number of experienced Control System Engineers to join their teams on varying lengths of project; most are 6 months' at the minimum.

They serve customers predominantly in the Distribution and Warehouse Automation sector; although there are also requirements within the Packaging and FMCG division.

The Senior Control System Engineers will ideally have the following attributes:

  • 5+ years' experience within System Integration projects.
  • Strong proficiency in PLC Programming using Allen-Bradley, Siemens or Mitsubishi PLCs.
  • Limited ability to conduct Electrical Hardware Design duties.(AutoCAD Electrical or EPlan predominantly).
  • Full Project lifecycle background within Manufacturing sectors from Design through Programming and Installation.
  • Strong Drive, Inverter and Motion Control experience.
  • Robotic Engineering background.

The Senior Control System Engineer's role will involve:

  • Programming PLCs for the control of Machinery and Robotics (Allen-Bradley and Siemens).
  • Electrical Panel or Cabinet Design.
  • Troubleshooting Electrical Hardware during installation phases.
  • Upgrading multiple PLCs within live production environments.
  • Assessment of customer requirements and delivery of bespoke products to given specifications
  • Liaising with colleagues on other engineering tasks and projects as required
