- Governance Framework: Establish a lightweight governance model defining ownership, decision rights, and standards for continuous improvement.
Process Analysis & Mapping
- Current-State Assessment: Lead cross-functional workshops to document "as-is" workflows (e.g., agent onboarding, eApp submission, suitability checks, commission payments) using BPMN or equivalent notation.
- Data-Driven Diagnostics: Partner with Data Analytics and Engineering to analyze process performance metrics and identify bottlenecks, handoffs, and inefficiencies.
Engineering & Redesign
- Future-State Design: Architect "to-be" processes that eliminate waste, reduce cycle times, and embed AI-driven decision support and intelligent self-service tools.
- Pilot & Scale: Oversee proof-of-concept initiatives, validate outcomes, and scale redesigned processes organization-wide.
Technology Integration & Transformation
- AI-Enabled Process Innovation: Partner with AI and Data teams to embed predictive, generative, and natural language capabilities into core workflows (e.g., document understanding, conversational guidance, and automated decisioning).
- Platform Enablement: Evaluate and integrate workflow orchestration and automation tools that align with the company's cloud-first, API-driven architecture.
Change Leadership & Enablement
- Stakeholder Engagement: Drive alignment across functions through steering committees and working groups.
- Training & Adoption: Partner with HR and Operations to deliver training and adoption programs that accelerate transition to new digital workflows.
Continuous Improvement & KPI Tracking
- Measurement & Reporting: Define and monitor key performance metrics (cycle time, error rate, throughput, customer satisfaction) via dashboards and analytics.
- Sustainability: Establish routines for quarterly process reviews and continuous improvement cycles.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CIO, COO, Product, Technology, and Risk committees to ensure all process initiatives align with strategic and compliance goals.
- Facilitate collaboration across Operations, Customer Experience, Sales, IT, and external distribution partners to deliver end-to-end excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: 8+ years in business process engineering, transformation, or operational excellence, with 3+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Technical Acumen: Strong knowledge of workflow orchestration, automation platforms, and AI integration (e.g., Camunda, Appian, low-code/no-code tools, generative AI applications).
- Innovation Mindset: Experience driving digital transformation leveraging data, AI, and intelligent automation to achieve measurable business impact.
- Analytical Rigor: Skilled at process modeling, data analysis, and root cause identification using quantitative and qualitative insights.
