As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will work across all operational parts of the business to design, develop, and maintain a wide variety of visualization and analytics solutions in industry leading business intelligence tools. The position will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders while maintaining Brandt's business intelligence infrastructure and developing visualizations to assist with Brandt's mission.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage Brandt's business intelligence infrastructure including ensuring data refresh scheduling, subscriptions, user and group permissions, maintenance updates and server-side optimization.
• Utilize business intelligence tools to aggregate and analyze data collected from various sources to develop dashboards focused on answering key business questions.
• Incorporate business intelligence tool functionality into dashboards including parameters to change dashboard layouts, level of detail calculations, sets, dual axis charts, and dashboard actions.
• Communicate information to senior executives for decision making purposes.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure users are adequately trained to take advantage of selected business intelligence tool functionality

What You Will Need

• 3–5 years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, or analytics roles.
• Proficient in SQL, data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), and BI administration tasks such as scheduling, data refreshes, and user permissions. Understands joins, calculated fields, and data blending.
• Builds and maintains dashboards and visualizations to answer key business questions; begins to identify trends and insights proactively.
• Contributes to data governance practices; documents processes to improve data consistency and reproducibility.
• Engages with cross-functional stakeholders to refine requirements, deliver insights, and train users on BI functionality.
• Develop data models using various internal and external data sources to support stakeholder reporting and analysis needs.
• Demonstrates accountability, analytical rigor, and continuous improvement mindset.
• Develop and maintain simple ETL / ELT pipelines and automated workflows.

Compensation & Benefits:

• The selected candidate should have the skills, qualifications, and experience consistent with a Staff II level within Brandt's job architecture. The compensation range is $80, $90,000.00 with the final level and corresponding salary determined based on the candidate's expertise, qualifications and prior experience within the applicable pay band.
