Healthcare Mitigation Technician

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Mitigation Healthcare Technician to work as an extension of the facilities team within a hospital environment. This role requires a local candidate who can provide quick responses and maintain a consistent work schedule to support essential facility needs. If you have experience in mitigation, environmental services, or structural work, and you're ready to make an impact in healthcare, we'd love to hear from you
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage water loss incidents, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement within hospital facilities
- Perform basic facility maintenance tasks such as painting, containment setups, and light switch installations
- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment within the hospital
- Set up containment areas to ensure patient and staff safety during remediation activities
- Respond promptly to facility maintenance requests and emergencies as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in mitigation, environmental services, or hospital maintenance
- Ability to work efficiently within a healthcare environment and respond to urgent needs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness
- Local residency is required due to the need for quick response times
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Job Type: Full-time
