As a
Production Support VPC Tech
at our Vehicle Processing Center (VPC), you'll play a key role in supporting production needs with a focus on
vehicle accessorization and inspection
. This position ensures vehicles are properly equipped, meet quality standards, and are ready for shipment. You'll work alongside Quality Inspectors and other team members, adapting to a variety of tasks within the VPC environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to supporting production output while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Install vehicle accessories according to guidelines and product specifications
  • Support daily vehicle processing and shipping requirements
  • Collaborate closely with Quality Inspectors to ensure standards are met
  • Perform functionality checks, adjustments, and alignments as needed
  • Complete special assignments as directed by management
  • Maintain tools responsibly and ensure proper care of company equipment
  • Uphold housekeeping and organizational standards consistent with 5S initiatives

Qualifications

  • Previous mechanical or automotive experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of installation tools and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license required; ability to drive manual transmission preferred
  • Excellent work and attendance record with flexibility for overtime and alternate assignments
  • Physical ability to: Stand and walk for most of the shift. Bend, stoop, reach, lift, twist, and climb into vehicles. Push, pull, and grasp objects. Lift 50–75 lbs consistently

Additional Information

  • Some Saturday work may be required based on production needs
  • Cross-training opportunities available within other VPC positions
