Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Finance to oversee and lead all financial operations within our organization. This leadership role will be responsible for ensuring financial health, developing and implementing financial strategies, and managing a team to drive fiscal accountability and growth. The Director of Finance will collaborate closely with senior leadership to support decision-making and provide financial insights that align with the company's goals and vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the financial strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Lead financial planning, analysis, and forecasting efforts.
  • Manage capital structure, including budgeting, investments, and funding strategies.
  • Ensure financial compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership for strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
  • Partner with department heads to optimize budgets and achieve financial objectives.
  • Manage relationships with banks, investors, and other financial stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for financial process improvement and cost efficiency.
  • Mentor and develop the finance team to build a high-performing, collaborative culture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA designation strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior finance role.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, financial planning, and strategic management.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.
  • Proficiency with financial systems and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to operate in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
