Description

Decisions Consulting LLC is a consulting firm which specializes in obtaining alcohol, business and other licenses in 48 States. We are seeking a motivated self-starter to join our licensing team as a fulltime Licensing Specialist at our location in Atlanta, Georgia. The salary is based on experience but can range from $35,000 for entry level to $60,000+ for individuals with in-depth licensing experience. Decisions sets itself apart from other firms by offering semi-annual performance reviews in January and July of every year, 401k plan with match, comprehensive benefits packages (health, disability, vision, dental, life insurance, etc.), ample paid time off and a strong team-oriented environment. Decisions also has a flexible hybrid work from home option where individuals can be remote for two days a week after a 90-day training period. Candidates will be required to come onsite to our office in Atlanta, Georgia.

The ideal candidate is someone who is motivated to work independently and also with a team. No degree is required as we provide on the job training, but all candidates should have a basic understanding of MS Office and Adobe Pro software. Below are other qualifications being considered:

· Competent with word-processing and spreadsheet programs.

· Strong attention to detail, problem solving, communication and organizational skills required. 

· Excellent phone skills and solid clerical skills.

· Strong Team Player.

· Self-motivated.

· Understanding of project and process management.

· Must be proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office desktop applications and Windows-based programs.

Primary responsibilities:

1. Act as the liaison between our firm and the client, also act as the internal gatekeeper to facilitate collection of site information and documentation to effectively communicate to the Manager.

2. Independently coordinate with relevant state, county, and city offices confirming all necessary documentation & fees required for licensing, monitor timing of process and maintain good working relationships with various governmental offices;

3. Research & review regulations/requirements to determine operating requirements for various alcohol licenses, and regulatory compliance;

4. Prepare various documents and applications related to the licensing process;

5. Contact issuing authorities for missing bills or licenses; 

6. Support team members with other applications in process as needed;

7. Build relationships with third party groups and State/Local Regulators;

8. Use technology to perform tasks efficiently and effectively to best serve client needs; and

9. Other job-related duties as assigned.
