Position Summary:

Thrive Center is seeking experienced and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) to join our team. This position requires an LCSW. We have full-time and part-time positions available in schools throughout NYC. In this role, you will provide counseling and mental health support services to students, helping them overcome emotional, behavioral, and social challenges. We are particularly looking to fill three positions, each 2 days: 2 day positions in Manhattan, 2 day positions in Brooklyn, and 2 day positions Staten Island.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling to students in a school-based settings
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment or support plans
  • Address mental health and behavioral issues through evidence-based interventions
  • Maintain documentation and reports in compliance with DOE and agency guidelines
  • Prepare 1 annual report for IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State
  • DOE fingerprinting clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience working with school-age children and adolescents
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to student development and educational equity
