The Composite Technician will work hands-on with advanced composite materials and play a critical role in preparing components for final installation at the aircraft.

- Remove existing laminate, inspect substrate for defects, and complete necessary structural or cosmetic repairs.
- Prepare surfaces by filling cracks and gouges, sanding smooth, and ensuring readiness for thermoforming.
- Apply heat and pressure to bond new laminate using thermoform presses, ensuring strong adhesion and proper alignment.
- Reinstall plastic subcomponents such as window reveals and surrounds prior to packaging.
- Perform detailed inspections at various stages to ensure adherence to quality standards and customer requirements.
- Document all work in repair logs and inspection reports accurately and consistently.
- Support packaging and logistics functions to ensure repaired panels are protected and ready for delivery to the aircraft installation site.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
- Communicate and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Inventory teams to resolve repair and material issues as needed.

- Strong problem-solving skills, especially when identifying or correcting bonding issues.
- Clear communication and documentation abilities.
- A methodical, process-oriented mindset with commitment to safety and quality.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
