As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with shoppers, tenants, and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining composure during unexpected events.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Report and document any suspicious behavior, incidents, or hazards encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with retail or mall management and Allied Universal team members to address concerns or incidents as they arise.
• Assist in guiding visitors and/or tenants, providing directions and answering questions to enhance their experience at the location.
• Support emergency evacuation procedures and assist first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being at least 21 years of age is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
