Our client is a global leader in personal care cosmetics with a goal to deliver exceptional results. They are looking to add a
Lab Technician
to the team. As a Lab Technician, you will be part of a Research & Development team creating and formulating a variety of personal care products.

Salary/Hourly Rate
$20/hr - $24/hr

Position Overview
The Lab Technician will assist in preparing, testing, and modifying product formulas while collaborating closely with internal partners to ensure the product quality, stability, and performance. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about cosmetic science and eager to grow in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities Of The Lab Technician

  • Support the Product Development Manager by reviewing, preparing, and submitting product formulas for evaluation.
  • Collaborate with Regulatory, Microbiology, Patent, and Safety teams to ensure compliance and performance standards.
  • Batch and prepare prototype formulas for testing and internal review.
  • Conduct formula stability testing, track results, and make necessary adjustments to improve performance.
  • Maintain accurate lab records, documentation, and formulation data.
  • Provide creative and resourceful solutions to challenges that arise during product development.

Required Experience/Skills for the Lab Technician:

  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in the lab.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage several projects simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
  • Positive attitude, strong teamwork ethic, and a passion for innovation.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Lab Technician:

  • Prior experience working as a Lab Technician in personal care or cosmetic formulation.
  • Familiarity with ingredient functionality, stability testing, and formulation principles.
  • Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and lab safety standards.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline is required.
