Role Description
This is a volunteer, remote role for an IT Specialist. Responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining and configuring hardware and software, ensuring cybersecurity protocols are followed, supporting colleagues with IT-related concerns, and making sure that all systems meet organizational and user requirements. The IT Specialist will also help implement new technologies and provide training and documentation for users as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in managing IT infrastructure, including knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for effectively resolving technical issues
- Experience with system configuration and cybersecurity best practices
- Knowledge of IT support processes and experience in providing technical training or support to users
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work well with a team and on-site at the designated location
- Previous experience in a technical support or IT specialist role is preferred
A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is desirable
