We are looking for a results-driven, customer-focused professional who can balance company objectives with exceptional client satisfaction. You'll leverage your consultative sales expertise and understanding of voice, data, VoIP, cloud-based, and managed services to identify opportunities, deliver tailored solutions, and collaborate closely with our technical and service teams to exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, managing relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Grow existing business and develop new opportunities within assigned territories and verticals (education, healthcare, manufacturing, government, etc.).
  • Conduct consultative needs assessments to understand client requirements, budgets, and operational challenges.
  • Present and propose customized telecommunications and IT solutions, including hardware (phones, switches, PBX/VoIP systems), network services, managed solutions, maintenance/repair, and carrier services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, service, operations, support) to ensure seamless delivery and implementation.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., ConnectWise, ZoomInfo) and deliver accurate forecasts and reports.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure mutual value and profitability.
  • Monitor client satisfaction, analyze service usage, and identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies.
  • Represent D&S Communications at trade shows, conferences, and networking events to generate leads and strengthen brand awareness.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Telecommunications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5+ years of B2B sales or account management experience in telecommunications, IT services, or network solutions.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals and managing strategic accounts.
  • Strong understanding of voice/data technologies (VoIP, PBX/UC systems, network infrastructure, hardware/repair services).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills across technical and executive audiences.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tools (ConnectWise, ZoomInfo, CoPilot).
  • Willingness to travel nationally for client meetings and industry events.
