About FI Catering CollectiveFI Catering Collective is a fast-growing catering company that brings together the culinary talent of multiple Fareground Foodhall vendors to deliver Austin's favorite flavors directly to homes, offices, and events across the city. From curated lunch programs to full-service offsite events, we bring the diversity and creativity of Fareground's food scene to clients wherever they gather.
We are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Catering Sales & Partnerships Manager to expand our offsite catering business, build strong relationships throughout the Austin community, and help grow our network of vendor partners. This role is ideal for someone who is confident working independently, thrives on achieving results, and wants to be part of an exciting hospitality concept that is redefining catering in Austin.
What You'll DoThis is not a desk job. You will be out meeting potential clients, building partnerships, and turning relationships into repeat business while ensuring each order runs smoothly from start to finish.
Catering Sales & Business Development- Actively prospect and pursue new offsite catering opportunities, focusing on corporate offices, local businesses, and private events.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of repeat clients through consistent outreach, networking, and relationship management.
- Create compelling proposals that showcase the best of Fareground's multi-vendor culinary offerings.
- Collaborate with vendors to build tailored catering packages that reflect client needs and highlight each vendor's strengths.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach and proposal to order execution and client follow-up.
- Achieve and exceed sales goals, including a target of $25,000 in monthly offsite catering sales and $300,000 or more in new annual revenue.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for FI Catering Collective, representing our mission and partners within the Austin business and event community.
- Network and attend local events, trade shows, and community gatherings to generate leads and build awareness.
- Establish partnerships with local businesses, corporate offices, and event planners to grow long-term recurring business opportunities.
- Oversee order execution, ensuring smooth coordination between vendors, clients, and delivery partners.
- Maintain exceptional service standards for every catering event, large or small.
- Support onsite activations and pop-up events that promote FI Catering Collective and Fareground vendors.
- Use a CRM platform to track leads, outreach activity, proposals, and closed deals.
- Provide weekly reporting on outreach volume, conversion rates, and revenue progress.
- Passion for Austin's food scene, hospitality, and community.
- Proven success in sales, business development, or catering/event management within the food and beverage or hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. You are a natural connector and closer.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage your time effectively without the need for close supervision.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to take initiative to identify and pursue new opportunities.
- Competitive Pay: $60,000–$65,000 base salary plus 4% commission on offsite catering sales and performance-based bonuses.
