Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Residential Plumbing Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and construction, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential settings, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Install and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in residential properties.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for installation tasks.
  • Perform pipe threading and assembly as required for various plumbing projects.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to identify potential issues.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while working on construction sites, including heavy lifting when necessary.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with homeowners regarding project details.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years hands on plumbing experience is required.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
  • Experience with carpentry and remodeling projects is advantageous.
  • Valid commercial driving license may be required for transporting materials to job sites.
