Job Overview: The Equipment Fleet Coordinator assists with functions related to equipment life-cycle management (acquisition, utilization, financial performance and disposal). Communicates with internal customers and external suppliers regarding quotes, specifications, and accounting documentation. Responsible for front-line accounting support, tracking, freight coordination, and limited shipping and receiving. The Equipment Fleet Coordinator reports to the Equipment Manager.
Job Functions:
- Provides direct equipment and tool support to customers.
- Completes ongoing equipment administration function in support of equipment and tool transfers, accounting activities, and repair/service.
- Completes invoices received, ensuring proper cost allocation and payment.
- Assists with tracking and process of equipment titles/Manufacturer Certificate of Origin (MCO) application process, annual registration renewals and cancelations.
- Provides support to procurement and equipment managers (estimating, planning, job site setup, specialized equipment, etc.)
- Performs administrative functions relating to gathering and analyzing quotes, researching specifications, and performing calculations in support of acquisitions.
- Creates and issues appropriate purchase documents, expedites orders, and ensure receipt of equipment and accuracy of invoicing.
- Awareness of impact to construction activities, schedule, and cost that equipment supply and services have.
- Develops general equipment and tool knowledge including general understanding of equipment and small tool repair costs and processes by working with internal and external subject matter experts (SME's), using supplier resources and varied acquisition assignments.
- Develops and maintains strong, customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.
- Values and models the solution provider and profitability culture.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of construction or equipment experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Compliance with all PCL policies, procedures, and safety rules.
- Pass a pre-employment physical examination, DOT and/or Non-DOT drug/alcohol screen, and background check.

- Basic knowledge and awareness of construction and contracts.
- Basic aptitude with E1 equipment management software.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic ability to facilitate conflict resolution.
Physical Requirements:
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at elevated heights as needed.
- Able to carry 50 lbs. of tools and/or materials without assistance.
- Occasional outdoor work in various weather conditions.
