We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Daycare Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Lead daily classroom activities for preschoolers, infants, toddlers, and children with special needs, ensuring engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences.
- Develop and implement creative lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards to promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and caregivers to maintain a cohesive and productive team environment.
- Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage respectful interactions and social skills among children.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently, including first aid procedures and emergency response readiness.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns in a clear and supportive manner.
- Maintain detailed records of children's development, attendance, and classroom activities for ongoing assessment and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with specialists in special education or those experienced in working with children with disabilities to support inclusive learning environments.
- Organize engaging activities that promote early childhood development such as toddler care routines, preschool games, infant care practices, and classroom management techniques.
- Uphold licensing regulations and health standards related to childcare facilities to ensure a safe environment for all children.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in daycare settings or similar environments such as nannying or babysitting roles.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively through positive behavior management strategies.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, team members, and specialists.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are highly valued.
- Skilled in classroom management techniques that foster an inclusive, nurturing atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers with a focus on age-specific needs such as infant care routines or toddler care activities.
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to childcare including emergency procedures and health standards compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team of caregivers while maintaining high standards of professionalism and compassion.
