The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Internal Audit team:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to lead transformation initiatives focused on data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and as liaison for the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation of S4/HANA within the internal audit function of RTX. This role will play a critical part in driving innovation, operational excellence, and process optimization across the organization. The Internal Audit Transformation Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and integrate advanced technologies into existing workflows. This person will also lead a team responsible for developing and implementing data analytics tools.

What You Will Do:
Transformation Leadership:

  • Identify opportunities to leverage data analytics and AI to drive innovation and improve internal audit execution and operational processes
  • Drive the automation of reporting and risk assessment processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and develop real-time monitoring capabilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and develop strategies for implementing advanced technologies
  • Lead the integration of data-driven solutions into existing audit processes, ensuring adoption and continuous improvement

Data Analytics and AI:

  • Lead the analytics teams in the design and implementation of data-driven tools and AI-powered solutions
  • Provide guidance and training to teams on the use of data analytics and AI tools
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in data analytics, AI, and related technologies

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation of S4/HANA:

  • Collaborate with the S4/HANA implementation team on governance processes, helping ensuring compliance with organizational standards and best practices, while providing insights from an audit perspective
  • Partner with IT and business teams to understand S4/HANA functionalities, leveraging audit expertise to identify and mitigate potential risks during the implementation process and identifying any data driven solutions of the future

Team Management:

  • Manage a team responsible for executing on the analytics strategy
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on the progress and impact of transformation initiatives

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contrac
  • Strong expertise in audit methodologies, internal controls, risk management principles, governance frameworks, and experience with S4 Hana governance processes is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools, AI technologies, digital transformation strategies, and the ability to interpret complex data sets to draw actionable insights.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal skills, and a proactive mindset to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and drive process improvements using technology.
  • Flexibility to travel (20%-30%) as required for project updates, risk discussions, and implementation support.

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
